How does Panadol ActiFast work?
Panadol ActiFast Tablets are designed for fast pain relief when you need it most. It combines paracetamol with sodium bicarbonate. This aids faster dissolution in the stomach and enhances absorption in the small intestine, allowing more of the active ingredient to enter the bloodstream quickly.
Unlike some pain relief options, Panadol ActiFast does not contain aspirin or ibuprofen, making it a gentler alternative for those with gastric sensitivity, ulcers, or NSAID intolerance.

Exceptional service. We needed medicine for my parents. The pharmacy was able to arrange stock and deliver the medication on the same day. The team really went the extra mile.
Really good staff! Very helpful and prompt. I had a really bad experience at my previous pharmacy, really happy I moved over. Recommend to everyone especially because they’re open 7 days a week even on bank holidays!
I had an excellent experience at Star Pharmacy! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They go above and beyond to answer questions and ensure you get the right medication. The store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything you need. Highly recommend this pharmacy for their outstanding customer service!
Excellent pharmacy, quick and kind. Now that I’ve moved house, I still travel all the way here even though I could pick somewhere closer. Just couldn’t go anywhere else!
Always really helpful & so friendly. Even when not dispensing my medicine, the pharmacist has given me second opinion and checked me over. Have ordered me needles in that I had trouble getting elsewhere also. So refreshing to find a pharmacy who wants to help and is kind!

Nuromol is a dual-action painkiller that contains two active ingredients in a single tablet:
Paracetamol: A pain reliever that is understood to work primarily in the brain and spinal cord.
Ibuprofen: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing inflammation at the site of the pain.
It is designed for the temporary relief of pain that cannot be managed by taking either ibuprofen or paracetamol on its own. This includes pain from headaches, migraines, dental issues, period pain, and muscular aches.
By combining two different types of painkillers, Nuromol attacks pain in two different ways at the same time. While the ibuprofen works to reduce inflammation at the source of the pain, the paracetamol works centrally to block the transmission of pain signals. This dual-action approach can provide more effective relief than either ingredient used alone.
The most important safety warning is to NEVER take Nuromol with any other product that contains paracetamol or ibuprofen. Many over-the-counter cold and flu remedies contain these ingredients. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage, while too much ibuprofen can harm your stomach and kidneys. Always read the labels of any other medicines you are taking.
Always follow the instructions on the packet. The typical dose for an adult is:
This medicine should only be used for a maximum of 3 days.
You must speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking Nuromol if you:
It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while taking Nuromol. The combination can increase the risk of side effects. Alcohol can increase the risk of liver damage when taken with paracetamol and can increase the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding when taken with ibuprofen.
Nuromol can cause side effects, and not everyone might get them. The most common are related to the digestive system and include:
If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction or stomach bleeding (black, tarry stools or vomiting blood), stop taking the tablets and seek medical help immediately.
Long-term use of ibuprofen can increase the risk of serious side effects, including stomach ulcers, bleeding, and kidney problems. If your pain is severe enough to require a strong painkiller for more than 3 days, it indicates you should see your GP to get your condition diagnosed.
An overdose of Nuromol is extremely dangerous, particularly because of the paracetamol. Seek immediate medical help. Go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department or call for an ambulance.
